While closely linked with the Neo-Gothic look, buildings today still reflect the Victorian/Gothic style of the Victorian times. The tall points and open spaces are often found in homes across the world today, and are usually sought after by home owners.
These buildings are known for their roof-covered porches, gabled roofs, ornate facades, and as mentioned the turrets with the spire on top. These are all classic Victorian markers. While nice all together not every building has all these elements, some have only one or two, thus keeping the Victorian look but being able to add a modern twist if wanted. The house below shows this as you see the covered porch and the tiny turret, but it has the modern elements of being more box shaped and having the porch on the second level and not on the ground level.
